Welcome to Rising Tides. We are a no word count, AU Percy Jackson and the Olympians roleplay set in a time where Percy and his friends never existed. Camp-Halfblood has been peaceful-- or about as peaceful as a camp full of demigods can be. Recent unexplained events have put the gods against each other. With these tensions rising, how much longer will it be before war breaks? When registering, please do so with first and last names in all lowercase. If you make a mistake, that's fine. Ask a staff member to correct it. But we would ask that you do not make a habit of this. Please feel free to look around and make an appearance in the cbox! We love new members and we hope that you choose to stay and be a part of the Rising Tide community!

The Cabins
Twelve cabins surround a hearth in a U shape, with Cabins One and Two, belonging to Zeus and Hera respectively, at the head. They are positioned in the same manner that their Godly Parents' seats are on Olympus. The cabins on the left are odd numbered cabins and belong to the Gods, while the cabins on the right are even numbered, and belong to the Goddesses, with the exception of Cabin 12, Dionysus, who is a God.

The Big House
A large sky blue house, the Big House serves home to the Infirmary, the Attic where the Oracle of Delphi resides, Chiron's office, the basement, and the Rec Room, which is used for war meetings around a ping pong table during times of emergency. A large deck also wraps around the Big House.

The Climbing Wall
A giant wall that spills lava and spouts giant falling rocks if the campers don't climb up to the top in time. This rock wall accomplishes the lava and falling boulders by clashing together if the campers don't reach the top in time.

The Dining Pavilion
The Dining Pavilion is where the residents of Camp Half Blood eat their meals. Framed in Greek columns on a hill that overlooks the sea, the Pavilion has no roof or walls, though torches blaze from the columns and a large, central bronze brazier with a fire burning within give the Mess Hall light. Each cabin has their own table, and the Demigods must sit with their half siblings. The food served by the wood nymphs include extra lean cut BBQ, grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese, and fresh bread. Enchanted goblets fill with whatever drink the camper desires. The tables each take turns sacrificing the best parts of their meals to the Gods.

The Stables
The stables is where the horses and pegasi are kept. In charge of horse and pegasi riding lessons is the Demeter cabin, though on occasion the Aphrodite cabin does help out. It's a known fact Chiron doesn't care for the stables.

The Armory
This is where Demigods get their weapons. The Armory is located around the side of Athena's cabin, and is a big metal shed in appearance. Every camper gets their own weapons, though the children of Hephaestus tend to make their own.

The Forge
White marble columns line the soot stained walls of the Forge, and chimneys pump smoke over a gable carved with images of gods and monsters located on the roof. The forge itself is located at the edge of a stream, allowing for waterwheels to spin bronze gears. Campers always hear the machinery working, and the forge is the most likely place to find a child of Hephaestus.

The Forest
It's advised that Demigods keep out of the forest, unless armed or with a companion. The forest plays home to both the nymphs and various monsters of the Camp. It is also where Capture the Flag games are played every Friday. If a Demigod is looking for training, the forest is as good a place as any for it.

The Strawberry Fields
Because Delphi's Strawberry Service is the cover for Camp Half Blood, it's only logical they have strawberry fields to fun the camp. Every camper pitches in to pick the strawberries, and the presence of Dionysus and Demeter's cabin help them grow.

The Amphitheater
The Amphitheater is where the Demigods gather for sing alongs every night. These sing alongs are lead by the Apollo cabin, and the flames that burn in the fire place are influenced by the mood of the campers. The brighter the mood, the brighter and more colorful the flames.

The Creek
Called Zephrus Creek, it runs through the center of the forest, and serves as the boundary line between the two teams during Capture the Flag.

Zeus's Fist
This rock formation is also located in the Forest. Many campers wanted it to be called the 'Poop Pile' because it looks like a pile of deer droppings, but Chiron forbids campers from calling it as such because it would be disrespectful to Zeus, who does not possess a sense of humor.

The Beach
Fireworks Beach is the beach that is at the north end of the camp. The beach is located at Long Island Sound, the northern border to the camp.

The Borders
Reinforced by Thalia's Pine, the border to Camp Half Blood has a magical barrier that keeps monsters, mortals, and bad weather alike out. However, campers can allow monsters and mortals across the barrier by giving them permission. Campers often leave monsters into the camp as a practical joke.

The Volleyball Courts
Numbering three in total, campers often play volleyball against each other. Because there are three different nets, three different games may be going on at once.

The Arts and Crafts
A place that Demigods often use in their free time, the Arts and Crafts contains an abundance of art supplies, from pottery wheels and clay to slabs of marble and chisels.

The Arena
A place where campers come to duel or practice their swordfighting, should they so desire. Maybe lessons often go on in the arena. There are many dummies set up with armor to be practiced on and spare training swords and shields on racks against the far wall.
